Steam Launches Personal Calendar for New Game Releases
This week, Valve unveiled a practical new tool tailored specifically for Steam users: a personalized calendar that offers a clear overview of recently launched games.

At present, this feature is exclusive to Steam Labs, but all players can access a preview of it right away. The calendar receives daily updates and leverages data on the titles users play most frequently—this information is then used to curate and display game recommendations within the calendar.
Currently, the calendar only shows five working days (spanning Monday to Friday), and it also integrates users’ Steam wish lists. Looking ahead, a weekly or monthly viewing mode will be added, complete with intuitive visuals that let users quickly spot the games they’re eagerly anticipating.
Last but not least, users have easy access to a range of customization options. These include a tag selector for filtering games by category, an adjustable number of displayed results (with a range from 10 to 500 games), and settings that align with preferences tied to users’ Steam account criteria.
