New Pokémon Set to Debut in Pokémon GO’s November 2025 Event
Pokémon GO has officially revealed its upcoming Enchanted Hollow event, confirming that players will soon have the opportunity to catch Tarountula and Spidops for the very first time. These new Pokémon will make their debut as part of the special event launching in early November.

Pokémon GO continues to engage fans throughout the year with seasonal events that bring fresh excitement and variety. Before the arrival of the two spider-themed Pokémon, trainers can still enjoy the ongoing Halloween Celebration, which wraps up on November 2.
Enchanted Hollow Event Details
Following the Halloween festivities, the Enchanted Hollow event will take place from November 4 at 10 a.m. to November 9 at 8 p.m. (local time). During the event, players will encounter Pokémon such as Paras and Stantler in the wild — both of which can appear Shiny — alongside Nickit and the elusive Tarountula. Using a Mossy Lure will further boost encounter rates for Paras, Stantler, Cottonee, Petilil, Karrablast, Shelmet, and Tarountula, with all except Tarountula having a chance to be Shiny. Additionally, PokéStops will be decorated with forest-themed event patches, offering 2× XP for spins and double Lure durations.

Raids will also play a key role in the event. Paras, Stantler, and Tarountula will appear in One-Star Raids, while Leavanny, Scolipede, and Drampa will be featured in Three-Star Raids. In these battles, Paras, Stantler, and Drampa all have a Shiny potential. Field Research tasks will reward players with encounters featuring Paras, Stantler, Cottonee, Petilil, Karrablast, Shelmet, and a rare chance at Drampa — all with possible Shiny variants.
Players can also opt into Paid Timed Research for $1.99 USD, which grants rewards such as a Mossy Lure Module, two Incense, three Lucky Eggs, and encounters with Paras, Stantler, Drampa, and Tarountula. Completing the Event Collection Challenges will yield extra XP and an encounter with Tarountula.

Level Cap Expansion and Player Progress
While these events keep trainers engaged, Pokémon GO’s recent level cap increase ensures XP continues to have real value. Players can now progress up to level 80, with additional XP adjustments given to those below level 50 at the time of the update. Although community reactions have been mixed, this update provides dedicated trainers with plenty of new goals and rewards to pursue.
