Nightholme: New Extraction Multiplayer Game Announced for PC & Consoles

This week, Studio Ellipsis pulled back the curtain on its brand-new project: a game titled Nightholme. At present, the title is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC—though an exact release date has not yet been announced.

Nightholme falls into the multiplayer PvPvE survival horror genre. Here, teams of three players are dropped onto the same map, where they must take on terrifying, nightmarish bosses. The game’s city setting is dynamically evolving, thanks to an event system that also pushes the story and player progression forward. To top it off, the game offers a broad selection of character archetypes, plus a customizable skill tree for players to tailor their avatars to their playstyle.

Stealth and survival lie at the core of the Nightholme experience. Players will need to make strategic choices to stay alive, while avoiding unnecessary fights that could risk their progress. Those eager to try the game won’t have to wait too long: a closed beta test is planned for 2026.
